Rooting in Eastern France Doubs
The Saline royale d'Arc et Senans

Micronove brings together actors directly or indirectly involved in high precision and micro technologies.

Micronove offers to sales people, buyers and technical people an outstanding service of preplanned and well targeted one to one meetings. Buyers and technical people who have needs or are facing technical issues will be willing to meet with suppliers in order to find solutions.

Micronove aims to generate actual business and cooperation opportunities for the participants.

Micronove is organized in a region that is traditionally open to high precision and micro technologies. Micronove is trying to gain a European profile as this sector is also very much settled in the western part of Germany, Switzerland or in the north of Italy.

The Micronove convention takes place in a historical place offering both excellent work conditions and a magnifiscent environment.
The Saline royale d'Arc et Senans was built between 1775 and 1779 by Claude-Nicolas Ledoux, an architect of the enlightened century.

It was a plant dedicated to salt production. The Saline is shaped like a half circle and used to be not only a salt production plant but also home to the workers. It consisted in 11 buildings in total. Fallen into obsolescence with the rise of modern technologies, the Saline royale was closed down in 1895. Abandonned, looted and dammaged by fire in 1918, the site was bought by the département of Doubs in 1927. The département took it away from a certain ruin by carrying a restoration program. Nowadays the Saline has been enjoying its status of UNESCO world heritage site since 1982.

Located in the heart of the Franche-Comté region, 35km from Besançon and Dole, the Saline royale is surrounded by magic sceneries spread out of 27 hectares. Main roads, rail ways and the regional airport of Mulhouse-Basel are close to the site.
